Rover P3 series/Rover 60/Rover 75 Classic Car Paints
The Rover P3 series were cars made in 1948 and 1949. They came in two sizes, 1. 6-litre and 20-litre The Rover Company Limited called them the Rover 60 and Rover 75. For the market after the war, Rover had a new engine that they had been getting ready since the late 1930s. The engine had valves at the top for letting air in and on the side for letting exhaust out. The car was made in two versions. One version called the Rover 60 had a small engine that was 1595 cc. The other version called the Rover 75 had a bigger engine that was 2103 cc and had more cylinders. The gearbox and traditional Rover freewheel stayed the same as the previous model. A new car was made ready to use with the engine. The body of the car looked like the Rover 12 and 16, but many of the body parts were actually new. The wings and bonnet from the Rover 12 were still used. The car was slightly wider on the outside compared to 16 inches, but because of improved space usage, it ended up being 2. 5 inches wider inside. It was 4. 5 inches less distance between the wheels. Additionally, the Rover had a new feature: independent front suspension. However, the brakes still used a combination of hydraulic and mechanical systems. Instead of a full chassis, the new frame was like a box, but it didn't go all the way to the back wheel. Instead, the back springs were connected to the body of the vehicle.
