Morris Oxford Classic Car Paints

Morris Oxford is a group of cars made by Morris Motors in the UK. They started with the 1913 bullnose Oxford and later made the Farina Oxfords V and VI. W R Morris named his cars "Oxford" after the city where he grew up, which is known for its beautiful architecture. Making these cars in Oxford would make the city more industrial. From 1913 to the middle of 1935, there were more Oxford cars made and they also got bigger. In 1923, the Cowley cars made up 28. 1% of all British private car production. In 1925, Morris sold almost twice as many cars as any other brand, making up 41% of all cars produced in Britain. In the beginning, Oxfords were small cars with a 1018 cc engine and nine horsepower. They had room for only two people. However, over time, Oxfords became bigger and more powerful, with the last model having a 2½-litre engine and twenty horsepower. The model name was used again in 1948 and continued until 1971. During this time, the market and engine size stayed almost the same, ranging from 1476 cc to 1622 cc.
