The classic Ford Granada was a mid-size executive car produced by Ford in Europe from 1972 to 1994. It was designed to compete with other upscale European sedans. The first generation, known for its distinctive "coke-bottle" shape, was available in various body styles and featured a range of engines. In 1977, Ford introduced the second-generation Granada, which continued to emphasize luxury and performance. Later generations brought modernization and improved safety features. The Granada enjoyed success in Europe and the UK, where it was popular as a comfortable and spacious family car. It was eventually replaced by the Ford Scorpio in 1994.
