The Austin Ambassador Was A Big Car With A Hatchback Introduced By British Leyland In March 1982. The Car Was An Improved Version Of The Princess, An Old Model That Didn'T Have A Back Door That Opens Upwards. Only The Doors And Inner Structure Were Kept, But The Car Still Looked Like The Princess Because Of Its Wedge-Shaped Side. People Didn'T Think It Was A Completely New Model. The Princess Was Not Being Made For Four Months Before The Ambassador Was Made Available For Sale. The Model Was Similar To Smaller Cars Made By Austin Rover Group'S Rover Sd1, But It Didn'T Sell Well And Was Stopped Being Made In 1984.
